Es war unser Traumurlaub. Waren schon 5 Mal in Ägypten, aber Soma Bay ist ein ganz anderes Ägypten. Man hatte seine Ruhe, keiner wollte was verkaufen o. etwas aufzwingen. Man war ein ganz individueller Tourist, nicht im Strom der Massen. Wenn man, so wie wir Sonne, Strand u. schnorcheln liebt, ist Soma Bay traumhaft. Das lag natürlich auch an der großzügigen Unterkunft von Salma. Freiheit pur, wie nach Hause kommen. Mit dem Golfcart (haben ein eigenes Straßennetz) kam man überall hin. An die günstigen Strände u. in die Marina (alles was man braucht). Die Preise an den Hotelstränden sind teuer u. unnötig. Nutzt die öffentlichen Strände. Service, Liegen u. Handtücher sehr günstig, wir hatten auch eine Bootstour mit einem Glasbodenboot ganz für uns alleine! Waren an super Schnorchelspots. Und die Sobar (super Restaurant mit Carma, der Lokalkatze) war unsere tägliche Anlaufstelle. Im Netz findet ihr die Speisekarte. Mega! Wir kommen wieder. Vielen Dank an Ahmed, war immer für uns da.

Great team, courteous, very responsive to any questions even very late night and very early mornings when I was still awake due to jet lag. Sitting on the balcony at night was amazing with the sound of the red sea waves, and it was great to watch the sun rising from the balcony at dawn. Anyone who is looking for quiet and peaceful place with a lot of sea activities, this would be the right place for them.

Salma is such an amazing host, super helpful and fast responsive. The place is just spectacular, I really recommend this peaceful lodge to anyone who wants quite trip and fantastic sea views :)
