Abdullah and Ali were the best hosts! They made sure that my stay was perfect! The view from the challet and the beach were amazing. Would definitely book again! Also worth to rent the golf cart, it’s so nice to go around Soma that way.
Best people
We had an amazing time in Soma Bay. The apartment is comfortable and clean, and you can see the sea from the bed! Having the terrace means you're sheltered from the direct sunlight if it's too hot, but still feel like you're out on the beach, watching the kite surfers. The apartments were only about 10% occupied so it was beautifully peaceful. There is some noise from construction in the area (they're still developing Soma Bay), but it was not intrusive, and didn't spoil the peace, for us. The swimming pool is a couple of metres from the apartment and is also beautiful - big enough to do proper length swimming. There aren't restaurants or food shops directly near the apartment but the G.ride app means you can get a golf cart to collect you in 10-15 minutes to go to the restaurants and shops in the marina, a 10-min ride & less than £2 each way. Great base for sports, and beach activities, and perfect spot for relaxing. Ali and Abdullah were super responsive and helpful. Thanks guys!
Our stay was really nice and perfect for a one week getaway. The hosts were super responsive to any questions we had regarding the place as well as how to get around. They helped us get in touch with a taxi to shuttle us from the airport to the AirBnb- and he was AMAZING. If you can ask for the contact info for Ramy, he was our reliable taxi driver that took us everywhere, recommended great restaurants, and even helped us book a few excursions. We were really happy with the place and the area around was really quiet and it was great that it was just a 5 min walk to the kite beach. The only downside was that there aren't many options for dining out since most of the hotels have all inclusive meal options for their guests- and there was only one local grocery store.
